Really hot today, 80 F in the afternoon. Wouldn't be surprised if a few thunderstorms drifted over from France tonight.

July 23rd. Hot thundery night, slept badly, woke up in a mood at eight. There were two impressive thunderstorms on campus - the lab has a great view West across the valley and I could see them approach. Sara left, saying she was scared of thunderstorms.

July 24th. Went out to Do It All in a heavy shower.
