Great thunderstorm last night. Everyone was complaining about how much sleep they'd lost. I on the other hand only woke up once. Had flash of insight - usually the neighbours only have to cough for me to wake up, it must be only noises that I think I should be able to stop that disturb me.

Another windows-open day, a bit cloudier than yesterday.

Gorgeous weather today. Had the windows open all afternoon and evening.

A fine warm day today. Particularly nice walking home. It's great how quickly one forgets how sere and dull everything was in the winter, now there's leaves and blossom everywhere, and blue sky.

Rather a lot of rain today, fortunately almost all after I'd got home.

Bright morning with strong sunshine. Enjoyed walking underneath the blossoming trees on the way down from the car park at work. White flowers against deep blue sky, quite sublime.
The view from my bedroom window has had its spring transformation into leafy loveliness. It's so pleasing to look out and see greenness instead of bare branches.

Interesting rainy weather, which made it cosy and enjoyable to be working inside.

Really beautiful weather in the afternoon. Walking home had feeling of opening up to the spring after the long winter.

Very damp morning, with a sort of hazy brightness later.

Up at 5.15 to go to London for the wedding. It was a dark grey drizzly morning, rather reminiscent of that grey day I went into London in Oct 1987 - I ended up meeting more than 1 gay bloke this time though.

The sun made an appearance about 7pm, coming home I could see the sunset in my mirrors on the A120. Eventually home, very tired, at 7.50 pm.

Colder today, with some impressive cumulonimbus clouds in the afternoon and evening.

Fine bright morning, later very windy with cold heavy showers. My standby umbrella blew inside out on the way home, but I used the wind to blow it right side in again.

Beautiful spring weather in the morning. Poplar trees over to the West have got green leaves on them: odd to see them greeny-brown after being stark black for the last five months.

Came on to rain in the afternoon, cosily beating against the windows.
