Beautiful weather - heavy shower in the morning, blue and white afterwards with stiff breeze. Green leaves particularly bright.

Another bright, sunny day, bit warmer than yesterday.

Heavy shower about 5pm.

Impressive thunderstorm a few miles off, flashes lighting up the horizon but very little rain here.

1st. Beautiful weather; countryside a real treat.

5th. Beautiful day after a cold start.

6th. Beautiful weather and very hot. Countryside looking sleepy and beautiful, bright green behind blue haze.

7th. Rain about 9am, brightened to a hot, bright, humid day. Sun still beating down at 6pm.

8th. Dull at first, becoming bright, hot and very humid.

9th. Very hot and humid again. Spotted a cloud with a lot of vertical development in the afternoon, was rewarded by huge clouds and rumbles of thunder about 5.30, but nothing else.

13th. Flawless weather.

14th. Beautiful weather again, not a cloud in the sky all day.

15th. Very hot today, bit too much so.

16th. Hot again but a bit fresher.

17th. Weather bright but very windy and much colder. Regretted not wearing a coat to work as it got colder later on.

18th. Lovely cool bright weather with big clouds.

21st. Miserable weather in the morning.

24th. Light rain at 7pm, really raining heavily at 9.30.

26th. Grey in the morning, started raining later and carried on raining heavily till at least 9.30 pm.

27th. Nice weather, cool, sunny and breezy with big clouds. In town, noticed some of these showed vertical development and speculated on the likelihood of heavy showers. Was rewarded with one such 2 hours later.

28th. Rainy day with high wind and hail in the morning.
