A coating of snow in the morning, and it began to snow in the morning and carried on all day. Fortunately it hasn't laid on the roads and paths though, it's quite wet. Cold too.

Very cold today - fog and heavy frost in the morning - sun burnt the fog off, but it was still v cold. There was snow on the hills at Hay. Weird weather we're having for March, what with the snow at home and the wet snow I walked back to the hotel through in Bolton on Saturday night.

Couple of inches of fine powder snow lying in the morning, and fiendishly cold. Never seen snow like that in March, a proper snowy day requiring boots.

But the sun shone strongly in the afternoon and melted all the snow that wasn't shadowed. Very interesting weather.
