Beautiful weather again, so about 10.50 set out for a walk. Found a path into the country park from that housing estate, and was suddenly surrounded by quiet and green-ness. Ascending the hill, looked back and could see my house, my computer room window in fact. I was standing in the view that I see when I check the weather from that window each morning.

At the top was quite overcome by the warmth from the low sun, the breeze, the panorama and the cumulus cells drifting by. Sat on the dry grass for a good 20 minutes just taking it in. I must get in that park again. It was such a change to get somewhere quiet. And it was only 10 minutes' walk away the whole time.

Beautiful cool, bright weather. At the end of the afternoon, the westering sun shining full on the tree outside my window filled my room with a cool, greenish light. The sky behind the tree was quite dark, so the green component wasn't drowned out. The kind of beauty that noise can't spoil.

Weather rather nice - bright sun, blue sky. Sort of wish now that I'd gone out for a walk. Wonderful bright full moon in the evening.

Lovely warm, sunny weather all day. I've never appreciated September like this before - why can't we have weather like this in August, instead of it being so hot you can hardly go out?

Weather kinda the reverse of yesterday - cool and misty in the morning, warm and sunny the rest of the day. Combination of blue sky, white clouds and warm, fresh wind somehow very exciting at lunchtime, and also walking home in the afternoon.

Rained for six hours, 8am-2pm, very dark, cold and windy. Autumnal indeed. Spent lunchtime reading in front of a huge library window looking onto the rainswept lake. Rather nice afterwards.

Weather miserable again in the morning. Improved later, so did my mood.

Weather miserable, so had a Saturday in, typing up my notes. It had cleared to a fine evening with fair-weather clouds by the time I went out at 6.30pm.

Yet another cool, bright day.

Sun just right between warm and hot, breeze, blue sky, white clouds. This September weather is really suiting me - the beauty of summer without the heat being so excessive that you can't walk about.

Another cool bright day, and windy too. 'The good bit of Autumn' ambience. Was in high spirits as I tend to be when it's blowy. A thousand visual echoes of September 1988 under the trees on the way down to work.
