LAST DAY OF WINTER.

Wind NW. Varying Sc Cu bits, fair amount of sun.

Monday, February 27, 2006

Began to chill out about 9.30am, when I reached the roundabout on the outskirts of Ipswich, and got the idea that I wasn't going to work. Sky dirty, with dark Cu bits below high pearly grey As, but even that had a special beauty.

Thursday, February 16, 2006

Some real sunshine today: blue sky and white cumulus, then dark clouds and a heavy shower, then back again. It's still obviously late winter, but it resembles spring.

Odd feeling of happiness on the bus home, with a powerful westering sun shining up through yellow-grey horizon clouds. Warmer weather revives my feelings of 'spaciousness' - I'm not sealed in a tiny bubble of in-clothes warmth when I'm outside.

Mostly 3 Cu, wind NW, sun, heavy shower c.1330
