Sat in the library till 3.45, watched the Sun set. Beautiful.

A strange, sad sort of old day. Woke up at 9 am, went to the garage for milk; immediately it started pissing down with rain and being really windy. So I stayed till about 2pm when it cleared up. Late in the evening it got windy and very cold.

Walked to campus and back. Really pleasant; cold late Autumn afternoon, thin sun.

Beautiful cold clear evening - crescent moon in the south and Mars (I think) low down to the west of it.

At dusk a shower passed over.

Rain - it had stopped by about 10.30pm though.
