Beautiful weather all day - bright and cloudless in the morning and afternoon, with a cloudy but interesting spell at lunchtime. though)

Pissed down in the afternoon.

To Sainsburys under a damp dark grey sky at 9 am.

On the lunchtime news thunder was predicted, then 40 mins. later it arrived. Absolutely pissing down with massively loud thunder and violent violet flashes of lightning.

Grey skies and drizzle of varying strengths all day.

It rained, so I didn't go into town.

Got in from the party at 2 am: pressure'd dropped from about 1020 mb to 1001 mb, and it was pretty windy.

Beautiful morning.

Came back as it was starting to rain.

A beautiful sunset.

Went into town to sign on. Had to wait outside in the rain. Went to the library. Walked back in the rain.

A roll of thunder at one point during the evening, and some rain, but (like Wednesday) not enough to make anything wet.

Getting colder.

Much colder today. When we came out of the library in the morning it'd gone very dark, and it even drizzled a bit later. Not used to overcast any more. Got even colder and darker in the evening - October, November, December-like.

I reckon things'll calm down when it rains - been dry as a bone here for weeks.

Beautiful cool clear September morning, lovely afternoon.

Hot and hazy all day, strong smell of damp at night.

Very autumnal - misty and humid - but also as hot as yesterday. Loads of thick cold fog down by the river. Getting cold at nights now.

Very hot all day.

There was a notable heatwave at the start of the month. 29.8C was reached...on the 1st [...]

No more special radio weather forecasts: they're all coming from the telly weather studio now. A pity in a way - one of the first things I noticed about Radio 4 was the different weather forecasters, and I got quite used to them.
