Very interesting conversation with Craig re thunderstorms. I recalled that fantastic one in 1994 that I was forewarned of by it disrupting Wimbledon before it arrived, and that went right over the house; he recalled a similarly impressive occasion in 1996 when he was taking landscape photos and one turned up with fork lightning and all.

I said I loved the proper fork lightning. 'None of your sheet rubbish' he confirmed.
