Last day of summer. Cold with big grey rolls of stratocumulus, and light rain in the evening.

Very cold and grey today, practically dark by 8pm. It reminded me strongly of other peaceful times with autumn approaching and something to look forward to.

The day was quite cool, as things have been since the weather changed on Sunday evening.

End of the heat all right: a decent shower at 3pm. My brass weather forecaster predicted it. First real rain since July 11th, six weeks and a day ago.
