Nice weather again, a bit of sun after a dull Christmas week.

10th. Walked into town to sign on - cold and foggy, river very full and swift and yellow with East Anglian boulder clay.

'Rain led to more flooding in the south'

12th. Wet and windy, got absolutely soaked on the way to town.

'Unsettled and very wet, especially in the first two weeks'

13th. Thunder heard during afternoon rain, then a quick cold-front clear with a very new New Moon.

16th. Beautiful morning but cold. Snow/hail shower about 1.30 pm.

17th. Frosty morning.

21st. Not so cold as recently.

27th. Very windy, cold too.
