Cold and showery with a thundery outbreak about 3pm.
July 3rd. Rained all day till about 6.30pm, when it cleared up and got colder.
July 4th. Back at three after a drive through showers: drove under one and came out into dazzling sunlight with heavy rain still falling.
July 5th. Massive thunderstorm 6.45-8pm, very exciting. First of the year, I think.
