Cold, wet, gloomy weather.

Apparently there was a small earthquake in East Anglia today, 3.6 on the Richter scale (1000 times weaker than the recent Los Angeles one). Can't say I noticed anything!

Freezing cold with tiny dry snowflakes. Colder than I can remember. -1 C in the day, apparently with wind chill -12 C in the strong breeze.

'Cold and snowy spell mid-month... The 14th was particularly cold, beneath freezing over much of Britain in a strong easterly wind' [...]

15th. At least 1 1/2" of snow lying this morning, drifting 6" or 8".

16th. Dull, damp, dismal, dreary and cold weather.

19th. Nice weather in the morning, sunny, calm and hazy if not too warm.

20th. Nice weather again, but a bit cold.

21st. Covering of snow this morning, perhaps 1/2". Very cold but cloudless.

22nd. Snow fell most of the day but didn't come to much.
