29th. Very hot today, hazy though.

Warm but cloudy.

Did some more weather maps based on the reports from coastal stations on the radio. Interesting stuff; actually drawing the maps yourself really gives you an insight into what's going on.

Beautiful weather all day, high thin haze.

Copied down the weather reports from coastal stations at 1.55 and 5.50, drew up isobar charts with fair accuracy.

Squally weather, a bit cold, wind N.E. still.

Woke up to a thin covering of snow on the ground! Can't remember snow in April before.

Rain till about 11.30am.

Heavy showers with sun in between.

Lovely weather for Easter Sunday but cold.

Frequent showers, hail too, very heavy about 2.30pm, forming drifts up to 3".
