Very quiet and calm and very mild.

February 26th. Springlike afternoon.

February 28th. Mild weather recently.

February 29th. In 75% of years today would be the first day of spring, and it certainly tried to live up to it: very warm, sunny and calm, similar to the Chubday in fact. Warm enough in fact to open my bedroom window during the day.

Very strong cold NW wind in the afternoon.

Felt very optimistic at dinner-time; sun, wind, shower cumuli.

Talked to Chris till 1.45am, came home and read my 1987 weather diary (for some reason).

Wind and rain.

Weather had completely changed when I woke up. The Sun had even come out.

Dull, foggy day, but late on the pressure dropped, the fog cleared and the wind got up. A change in the weather at last!
