Damp and autumnal but not dull.

Lovely golden evening. After sunset, there was just a touch left of that summer-evening potential, mostly overlain with advancing autumnal chill. Made a change from the continuous rain in the morning anyway.

Beautiful weather in town in the morning. Clouded over in the afternoon, quite autumnal.

Weather much improved, cool, sunny and windy with fluffy clouds.

Dismal weather again.

Felt pretty well in the morning despite continuing dismal weather.

Weather so poor today it felt like winter had come and I'd been drunk for months without going outside - sort of Rip Van Pisshead scenario.

Windy, heartening evening.

Misty night followed by hot hazy day. Thought at lunchtime that the clouds looked thundery, quality of light at 3pm confirmed the impression, heavy rain at 4pm. No thunder mind but definitely a thunder-type shower.

Walking down the avenue the leaves were blowing off the trees. Autumn is very prompt this year.

Again a bit autumnal.
