That interesting kind of 'rainy' stratocumulus in the morning, where it's quite dark overall, shading into particularly dark bits, always reminding me of the 9p violet stamp which shades from light on one side to very deep on the other.

Another freezing cold day. And now a wet Friday night - something I quite like, because I don't plan to go out early tomorrow. And perhaps because of the World of the Children bit about 'On Friday night she woke up to the sound of heavy rain', and then there's the bright morning with the raindrops in rainbow colours.
