Gloomy, damp start, but warm, hazy and peaceful later.

Damp, dark, dull, dim gloomy morning.

Went for a run in the rain.

In the evening watched the lunar eclipse, where I could see it between the clouds anyway. Always interesting to see the Earth's shadow - you won't see it anywhere else. It's nice, as a stargazer, to see some evidence of the thing you're standing on for a change

Colder again. At lunchtime got caught in a heavy shower.

Gloomy, wet morning, but weather improved rapidly after I cycled in, and became a beautiful late summer/early autumn day.

Good star visibility later, saw the Andromeda Galaxy for the first time.

Lovely weather - autumnal edge though.
