Tuesday, December 31, 2002

Rather colder, some rain, quite dark grey sky.

Sunday, December 29, 2002

Very rainy day.

Tuesday, December 24, 2002

Christmas Eve. Odd coming out of work in full daylight at 12.20pm. Back via Thorley Cross - winter countryside looking very odd in sunlight rather than the darkness I'm used to.

Saturday, December 21, 2002

Damp, foggy weather.

Thursday, December 19, 2002

Cold and clear again.

Wednesday, December 18, 2002

Cold and clear. Magnificent skyscape visible from top of building at lunchtime - line of dark clouds stretching off into the West for miles.

On the way home saw the (perfectly) Full Moon rising out of horizon cloud. Soon the fields were all lit with moonlight. Not something I get to see at all often, spending as I do so much time in street-lit areas.

Tuesday, December 17, 2002

Sky cleared in the afternoon, after promising flat 'scallop' clouds with gaps were visible at lunchtime. Wonderful Full Moon rose about 4.30pm.

Sunday, December 15, 2002

Very dark, wet day.

Saturday, December 14, 2002

Not really cold, but grey and damp. Made mince pies - very cosy thing to be doing on a dark December Saturday.

Friday, December 13, 2002

Comparatively warm today, with some heavy rain mid-morning. Very dark and gloomy.

Thursday, December 12, 2002

Weather a bit warmer.

Wednesday, December 11, 2002

Colder again, with real biting East wind.

Tuesday, December 10, 2002

Colder still - stronger wind. And dry - 36% relative humidity in the office in the morning.

Monday, December 09, 2002

Clear and very cold, with a dry East wind.

Sunday, December 08, 2002

Again a very dark day - and cold with it.

Saturday, December 07, 2002

Kind of 'snow to come' weather, featureless grey sky, cold and dark - getting dark at 2pm when I was coming back from town.

Wednesday, December 04, 2002

Rainy and grey most of the day, but by 5pm it was cold and clear with bright stars.

Monday, December 02, 2002

Weather very cold and dry, very appropriate December weather. I love December, with Christmas and the chance of snow.

Saturday, November 30, 2002

Very dark and wintry coming home at 2.30. Extended rain all the rest of the afternoon and evening.

Friday, November 22, 2002

Mostly cold and clear in the morning, with a cold-front shower.

Tuesday, November 19, 2002

Clearer today. Stroll in wintry sun at lunchtime. Wonderful sighting of Full Moon, large and golden on the horizon at 5pm.

Monday, November 18, 2002

Foggy - with blue sky above at times during the day, and very foggy in the evening. Driving back from class, it was too dangerous to go faster than 30 mph.

Sunday, November 17, 2002

Very grey and dim weather.

Friday, November 15, 2002

Rather colder today - fog in the evening, but a clear starry sky with waxing gibbous Moon.

Wednesday, November 13, 2002

Another pleasant day pottering about. Particularly nice to wake up at 6 am and hear heavy rain, and know I didn't have to go out.

Thursday, November 07, 2002

Cold and clear in the morning and evening. Big New Moon visible close to the horizon at 5pm.

Wednesday, November 06, 2002

Rained solidly till about 5pm. Walk up to the House with umbrella at lunchtime, saw the ducks and moorhens contentedly digging in the sodden ground.

Wonderful dark pink flush through the clouds at sunset - also sight of huge red watery sun just setting as the hem of the clouds rolled up in the West.

Saturday, November 02, 2002

Rained all day. Very dark and wintry. Ideal weather for staying in and sorting stuff out.

Friday, November 01, 2002

Grey start. Wonderful dark rainy afternoon - lights on at 2.30!

Monday, October 28, 2002

Cold and clear.

Sunday, October 27, 2002

Very strong SW wind rendering driving any faster than 50 mph very dangerous. But I'd completely forgotten to put the clocks back, so I arrived an hour early anyway.

Friday, October 25, 2002

Heavy rain on and off today. Windy in the evening.

Thursday, October 24, 2002

Beautiful cold clear morning. Trees particularly fine in autumnal colours.

Wednesday, October 23, 2002

More the cold and clear today.

Tuesday, October 22, 2002

Wet in the morning, and later, very grey, but blue sky appeared in the afternoon to cheer me up.

Monday, October 21, 2002

More rain, more Buffython.

Sunday, October 20, 2002

Came on to rain in the afternoon, so continued the Buffython.

Thursday, October 17, 2002

Cold and clear.

Wednesday, October 16, 2002

Not quite so rainy and dark, still pretty unpleasant though in the morning. Brief, valuable sun-gleam about 3pm.

Tuesday, October 15, 2002

Very rainy and dark.

Sunday, October 13, 2002

Another very dark, rainy day.

Saturday, October 12, 2002

Dark, rainy morning and afternoon, changing to clear cold starry evening.

Friday, October 11, 2002

Grey weather again.

Sunday, October 06, 2002

Beautiful weather in the morning, so set off light-heartedly on my spiritual walk as planned. Coming over the hill, saw the town spread flat below me and a broad ocean of sky with high-piled cumuli cruising across it. I could see why they say the 'wide world'.

Later, was overcome by feeling of gratitude to be alive, cooking tea and watching high clouds, illuminated from below the horizon by the set sun, drift up from the west.

Friday, October 04, 2002

Cool, clear autumn day.

Thursday, October 03, 2002

Such a damp, dismal morning that I didn't want to sit around in the morning, and went to work 10 minutes early. Weather improved a lot in the day to blue sky and fair-weather, flattish cumulus, so had another lunchtime stroll round the lake.

Wednesday, October 02, 2002

Felt pretty bad in the morning - weather dull, dark and damp, warmer than it looked and it made me feel like I had one of my old painless 'distant' hangovers.

Sunday, September 29, 2002

Beautiful weather again, so about 10.50 set out for a walk. Found a path into the country park from that housing estate, and was suddenly surrounded by quiet and green-ness. Ascending the hill, looked back and could see my house, my computer room window in fact. I was standing in the view that I see when I check the weather from that window each morning.

At the top was quite overcome by the warmth from the low sun, the breeze, the panorama and the cumulus cells drifting by. Sat on the dry grass for a good 20 minutes just taking it in. I must get in that park again. It was such a change to get somewhere quiet. And it was only 10 minutes' walk away the whole time.

Monday, September 23, 2002

Beautiful cool, bright weather. At the end of the afternoon, the westering sun shining full on the tree outside my window filled my room with a cool, greenish light. The sky behind the tree was quite dark, so the green component wasn't drowned out. The kind of beauty that noise can't spoil.

Sunday, September 22, 2002

Weather rather nice - bright sun, blue sky. Sort of wish now that I'd gone out for a walk. Wonderful bright full moon in the evening.

Wednesday, September 18, 2002

Rather cold today.

Tuesday, September 17, 2002

Quite a cosy atmos in the afternoon - dark clouds giving the weather an autumnal feel.

Saturday, September 14, 2002

Unpleasant white-skied day.

Friday, September 13, 2002

Lovely warm, sunny weather all day. I've never appreciated September like this before - why can't we have weather like this in August, instead of it being so hot you can hardly go out?

Thursday, September 12, 2002

Weather kinda the reverse of yesterday - cool and misty in the morning, warm and sunny the rest of the day. Combination of blue sky, white clouds and warm, fresh wind somehow very exciting at lunchtime, and also walking home in the afternoon.

Wednesday, September 11, 2002

Another lovely cool sunny day, in the morning anyway.

Tuesday, September 10, 2002

Beautiful cool, sunny day.

Monday, September 09, 2002

Rained for six hours, 8am-2pm, very dark, cold and windy. Autumnal indeed. Spent lunchtime reading in front of a huge library window looking onto the rainswept lake. Rather nice afterwards.

Sunday, September 08, 2002

Weather miserable again in the morning. Improved later, so did my mood.

Saturday, September 07, 2002

Weather miserable, so had a Saturday in, typing up my notes. It had cleared to a fine evening with fair-weather clouds by the time I went out at 6.30pm.

Friday, September 06, 2002

Grey and windy with rain in the morning. Clouds parted in the afternoon.

Thursday, September 05, 2002

Weather the same.

Wednesday, September 04, 2002

Yet another cool, bright day.

Tuesday, September 03, 2002

Sun just right between warm and hot, breeze, blue sky, white clouds. This September weather is really suiting me - the beauty of summer without the heat being so excessive that you can't walk about.

Monday, September 02, 2002

Another cool bright day, and windy too. 'The good bit of Autumn' ambience. Was in high spirits as I tend to be when it's blowy. A thousand visual echoes of September 1988 under the trees on the way down to work.

Sunday, September 01, 2002

Cool and bright again.

Saturday, August 31, 2002

Last day of Summer - bright with cooling breeze. Where has this summer gone? Since I started enjoying summer, it's been over in a flash. When I used to hate it, it went on for years.

Monday, August 26, 2002

Rather autumnal weather, grey but cosy indoors.

Friday, August 23, 2002

Wonderful yellow full moon shining through very thin high cloud.

Wednesday, August 21, 2002

Much nicer weather today. Bright and sunny but with a cool breeze. Kind of Septembral angle to the light in the afternoon I thought. Summer just doesn't last now that I like it. When I hated it it used to last for years.

Tuesday, August 20, 2002

Change in weather: dull, damp and grey today, but still unpleasantly hot.

Sunday, August 18, 2002

Took a long time to get to sleep, kept waking up due to the heat.

Thundery showers at lunchtime and in the afternoon.

Saturday, August 17, 2002

Very hot. In the afternoon cold drinks, fan and relaxing music with curtains closed. Felt like the end of Drugstore Cowboy.

Friday, August 16, 2002

Not a cloud in the sky all day till now - 11 pm. Very hot too, and still very hot now, in fact.

Thursday, August 15, 2002

Even hotter today.

Wednesday, August 14, 2002

Beautiful weather - really beautiful, like you imagine August. If anything too hot.

Tuesday, August 13, 2002

At lunchtime rather nice time looking at the sky - white/grey 'street' cumuli, with blue sky behind. At about 35° elevation the blue faded so that the clouds and sky were the same colour as the picture of an 18th-century woman on the lid of that tin Mum keeps pins in. You know, like one of those plaster reliefs.

Saturday, August 10, 2002

Lovely clear, cool evening, with very thin New Moon.

Friday, August 09, 2002

Pouring with rain in the morning, didn't stop till lunchtime.
Pouring with rain in the morning, didn't stop till lunchtime.

Thursday, August 08, 2002

Great thunderstorm at lunchtime. I was up in the library and had grandstand view. Wonderful to be inside and have rain pouring down the outside of the window.
Great thunderstorm at lunchtime. I was up in the library and had grandstand view. Wonderful to be inside and have rain pouring down the outside of the window.

Saturday, August 03, 2002

Raining in the morning ('but what is rain to a man of greatness? I shall go out!') but went into town anyway.

Quite dark coming out of the meeting at 8pm - first time I've noticed it this side of the solstice. Better make the most of August, as I remember how I didn't want summer 2001 to end when it did.

Impressive thunderstorm started about 9pm and still going on now at 11pm. About time we had some thunder.

Friday, August 02, 2002

Weather rather pleasant today - cooler, sunny with fair-weather cumuli.

Thursday, August 01, 2002

Much cooler today, fortunately. Raining lightly in the morning.

Wednesday, July 31, 2002

Gloomy, humid morning, but cooler. In the afternoon the weather cleared, sunny but not quite so insanely hot as yesterday.

Tuesday, July 30, 2002

Again very hot, but cloudier than yesterday.

Monday, July 29, 2002

Excellent thunderstorm at 4 am. Very hot day. Quite ridiculous at work. Internet radio very calming though.

Walked home at a gentler pace than normal. Cold tea. I'm all for good weather but this is ridiculous.

Sunday, July 28, 2002

Gorgeous weather. Very hot all night: had windows open. Unusual.

Had cold lunch. There were some impressive cumulo-nimbus, one with very good anvil head, but no thunder so far. That wonderful sort of orangey-red hazy far-off appearance in the biggest clouds, and them much more 'intricate' than fair-weather Cu, i.e. with far more turbulence.

Saturday, July 27, 2002

Very hot today, strolled through park in idyllic weather.

Striking sunset with aurora-like upwards illumination of dark, flat clouds in west above sun.

Friday, July 26, 2002

Cloudy start, clearing throughout the day to a beautiful evening, with a vast clear sky like an inverted pool of water, birds circling high in it and a huge sun resting on the horizon at 9pm.

Saturday, July 20, 2002

Rather more cloud today, with some exciting vertical development and a thunderstorm passing nearby.

Friday, July 19, 2002

Wonderful weather. Hot, with fair-weather cumuli. While out shopping drove slowly between Monkspath and Ferry Farthingale taking in the sunlit countryside and feeling grateful.

Home and chilled out generally. I love it when I open windows on all four sides of the house and fill the place with sunlight and breeze.

Thursday, July 18, 2002

Towards the end of the night had a great dream about allowing myself to be blown by the wind up into the sky - a white sky filled with sunlit rain.

Tuesday, July 16, 2002

Rather cloudier start than previous days, but pretty nice in the afternoon and evening.

Monday, July 15, 2002

Beautiful day again. Had sunburn from yesterday, so stayed inside with doors and windows open for a cool, bright house.

Sunday, July 14, 2002

Beautiful weather again. Very hot. Dispensed with jacket for Quaker meeting. In the afternoon lay and looked up into the sky, being strongly reminded of July 1981 for some reason.

Saturday, July 13, 2002

Lovely weather with big white cumuli.

Friday, July 12, 2002

Weather turned dark but sort of cosily dull in the afternoon.

Thursday, July 11, 2002

While I was fixing the curtain pole something happened that seemed to justify not going to Hengrave this year. When I remember being there I always think of one warm afternoon with really heavy rain falling onto the garden, and me watching it from the open window. Just the same thing happened today! Surely a message.

Wednesday, July 10, 2002

Sunny with two heavy showers, one at 1pm and one at 3pm. Sheltered from the second outside the Co-op. It's amazing how less threatening a place becomes if you just stand there for 10 minutes.

Tuesday, July 09, 2002

Felt rather better today despite miserable weather in the morning: grey with constant drizzle. Rain stopped about 2pm; strolled up the hill for a walk round town. Home to evening sunlight, and less humid atmosphere.

Monday, July 08, 2002

Weather grey and dull in the afternoon - I felt kind of low and 'wintry'. But it's raining rather determinedly now, kind of washing away the low mood.

Sunday, July 07, 2002

Another grey, miserable day. Drizzling in the morning.

Wednesday, July 03, 2002

Miserable weather (dark, damp and rainy) and miserable identity card news to go with it. I hate David Blunkett so much. I know that he is lying when he talks about 'entitlement' and 'helping people', and I know he knows he's lying.

Monday, July 01, 2002

Rotten headache all day. Grey weather didn't help - fortunately the sun came out in the afternoon and headache was gone after tea.

Friday, June 28, 2002

Beautiful start again, but clouded right over later.

Wednesday, June 26, 2002

Hot and clear again - staying so all day.

Tuesday, June 25, 2002

Another hot, cloudless morning.

Monday, June 24, 2002

Beautiful, cloudless morning.

Tuesday, June 18, 2002

Hot and humid today with some heavy thundery showers, but lovely and sunny in the evening.

Monday, June 17, 2002

Very hot today.

Wednesday, June 12, 2002

Rain in the morning. In the evening, came out of meeting to see top quarter of Sun sinking, under a low roof of cloud whose ridges were illumined red, under the orange flood of light from the horizon.

Friday, June 07, 2002

Weather still rather dull, but better than yesterday.

Thursday, June 06, 2002

Miserable weather in the morning: damp, foggy, grey, dim. Had that 'underwater' feeling I get sometimes.

Wednesday, June 05, 2002

Horrible warm, damp day with heavy drizzle.

Sunday, June 02, 2002

Another lovely day's weather, particularly early in the morning about 9 am. Didn't go to church: watched England v Sweden.

Saturday, June 01, 2002

Perfect weather for the date. Hot, bright, cloudless, with breeze. Walked back from town the long way through the park to appreciate the day better.

Very nice just being at home and having the windows open and looking through the bright air to the clear horizons. At sunset a few feathery clouds to lend colour.

Wednesday, May 29, 2002

After early rain, a gorgeous day with sun, blue sky and huge white cumuli.

Tuesday, May 28, 2002

Lucky I took the car today, because it turned cold in the afternoon with fine, drenching rain and wind.

Monday, May 27, 2002

More heavy showers.

Sunday, May 26, 2002

Another interesting day's weather - showers.

Saturday, May 25, 2002

Weather rather nice. Showers and big white cumuli.

Friday, May 24, 2002

More heavy showers.

Thursday, May 23, 2002

Showery again. Good thing I took my umbrella because there was a real shower at 5pm.

Wednesday, May 22, 2002

Sunshine & showers.

Sunday, May 19, 2002

Grey start, but seemed to be clearing about 0930, and indeed turned into a beautiful day.

Friday, May 17, 2002

Another warm start, but cooling off and getting windy.

Thursday, May 16, 2002

Absolutely beautiful weather, hot and bright. New Moon visible in the morning. Rather unusual I thought.

Wednesday, May 15, 2002

Beautiful warm weather, almost summery.

Saturday, May 11, 2002

Dull, damp morning and afternoon.

Thursday, May 09, 2002

One of those quiet, grey sky/green leaves days.

Wednesday, May 08, 2002

Another grey start, clearing to beautiful weather. Golden afternoon.

Tuesday, May 07, 2002

Dismal dark start, but completely cleared to a lovely day by lunchtime.

Monday, May 06, 2002

In the evening quite struck by smell of may blossom from the railway cutting. There are advantages to this location after all.

Saturday, May 04, 2002

Journey back under a lovely clear sunset sky with wisps of purple cloud.

Friday, May 03, 2002

Another day of heavy, slow-moving showers. Just like yesterday the main event was a windless, heavy downpour, with hail and thunder, around 1430.

Wednesday, May 01, 2002

Really appreciated the May evening sunshine. I love May, it's a month when I feel things are starting rather than finishing. And it's got my birthday in it.

Tuesday, April 30, 2002

Much more rain and heavy showers today, and cold and miserable with it.

Monday, April 29, 2002

More heavy showers.

Sunday, April 28, 2002

More interesting weather - heavy showers, wind, dark grey clouds and bright green leaves. In the afternoon, the setting sun sank underthe roof of stratus moving eastwards, filling the world with yellow light - particularly impressive because it was reflecting off the underside of the cloud as well as being visible directly.

Friday, April 26, 2002

Day of interesting weather - prolonged heavy rain in the morning, heavy showers in the afternoon.

Wednesday, April 24, 2002

Even more beautiful weather, quite hot. Went to see M. - lovely day for a drive, bright and sunny with a little haze, trees all fresh green.

Tuesday, April 23, 2002

Another lovely spring day. Getting on for hot. Got the windows open for that indoor-outdoor feeeling.

Sunday, April 21, 2002

Quite warm today. Got all the doors and windows open when I got home. With windows on all four sides that's almost as good as being outside when it's sunny.

Saturday, April 20, 2002

Beautiful weather with a breeze, perhaps a little chilly.

Thursday, April 18, 2002

Huge dark clouds rolled up at 5pm and I got soaked in freezing rain.

Wednesday, April 17, 2002

Walked home in warm, cloudy spring night.

Tuesday, April 16, 2002

Walking home up Border Road, again quite overcome with the beauty of the trees and grass and slanting, warm sunlight. I keep thinking, why has God been so good to me? As if I don't deserve it.

Sunday, April 14, 2002

Fine, cool day again. Strolled through the park on my way to church, looked at the trees, now bursting into green.

Friday, April 12, 2002

Another cool, fine day.

Tuesday, April 09, 2002

Rather cold today with north-east wind, heavy grey clouds in the afternoon and occasional rain.

Monday, April 08, 2002

Another fine cool day, but with a dull start.

Sunday, April 07, 2002

Fine, chilly morning.

Saturday, April 06, 2002

Another fine, clear day with strong, cold wind.

Friday, April 05, 2002

Yet another fine, hazy day, with a bit more wind - a cool, sea-smelling Easterly breeze.

Thursday, April 04, 2002

Another fine, hazy day.
Fine, hazy day.

Wednesday, April 03, 2002

Beautiful hazy, clear-sky weather with gentle sunshine.

Friday, March 29, 2002

Beautiful weather - wished I'd taken my hat into town, it was so hot. Great visibility too.

Thursday, March 28, 2002

Beautiful clear sky/ground haze day, colder than it looked, but Spring bursting out all over.

Wednesday, March 27, 2002

Beautiful bright weather - fantastically clear in the morning. Turned cold though.

Monday, March 25, 2002

Very springlike today, with that sweetness in the air that was there yesterday.

Sunday, March 24, 2002

Bright again with a cold edge to the wind.

Saturday, March 23, 2002

Bright but unexpectedly cold. But Spring-like softer blue sky.

Thursday, March 21, 2002

Walking home, found air warm and mild, and sky (where visible) blue in a proper springtime way.

Monday, March 18, 2002

Windy and rainy today.

Sunday, March 17, 2002

Stroll through park before lunch, weather quite warm.

Friday, March 15, 2002

Very grey, damp day with heavy rain at lunchtime.

Thursday, March 14, 2002

Still very cold. Walked to work - unfortunately by home-time it was raining hard and I got freezing cold and soaked on the way back.

Wednesday, March 13, 2002

Raining in the morning, and very cold.

Sunday, March 10, 2002

Pleasant windy weather - bright at first, clouding over.

Thursday, March 07, 2002

Beautiful sunny spring day.

Sunday, March 03, 2002

Misty morning with sun above the mist, breaking through by 1130.

Saturday, March 02, 2002

Beautiful weather in the morning, blue and sunny though 'hard-edged'.

Sunday, February 24, 2002

Weather very cold.

Saturday, February 23, 2002

Great showery weather. About 1.50pm noticed clouds darkening - looked out of window to North to see sunlit black clouds with veils of snow driving beneath. Swiftly all went dark and house was engulfed in snow, rain and hail, with flashes of lightning. Everything covered in white, but brilliant sunshine returned by 2pm.

Friday, February 22, 2002

Very cold still, impressive showery weather with cold-front gusts, or perhaps post-cold-front-showery gusts. Windy anyway.

Thursday, February 21, 2002

Very cold and grey today, yellow-grey sky in the afternoon, very wintry.

Wednesday, February 20, 2002

Exciting cold-front weather earlier. Very windy now, always nice weather to be inside during.

Sunday, February 17, 2002

Rather cold today, and cloudy in the morning.

Saturday, February 16, 2002

High pressure and dry air.

Friday, February 15, 2002

Again, very cold but very bright and sunny.

Tuesday, February 12, 2002

Grey, but plenty of light. Sort of typical late winter day. Not so wintry this year of course, with daffodils in bud already.

Monday, February 11, 2002

Rainy morning and evening.

Saturday, February 09, 2002

Grey cumuli on way home. Another sign of spring returning.

Friday, February 08, 2002

Rain, clearing later with a marvellous 'chaotic' sunset.

Thursday, February 07, 2002

Woke up to curious yellowish light, caused by cloud sheet spreading from West and not quite reaching Eastern horizon, so brightly lit underneath by early sun. Rain later as you'd expect.

Wednesday, February 06, 2002

Clear start, clouded over later to become cold and windy.

Monday, February 04, 2002

Started clear but got cold, windy and wet later.

Sunday, February 03, 2002

Miserable weather again, rain in the afternoon.

Friday, February 01, 2002

Very windy today.

Thursday, January 31, 2002

Very clear in the morning, clouded over later, with a clear point in the afternoon where stratocumulus came up from the West in a sheet, behind the altostratus already present.

Tuesday, January 29, 2002

Unseasonably warm again.

Monday, January 28, 2002

Weather quite warm but very windy. Wonderful full moon tonight. With the dry air and wind, there was a lovely spacious feeling on the streets.

Sunday, January 27, 2002

Miserable weather, grey with rain later.

Saturday, January 26, 2002

When I came out of the shops about noon it was windy and raining hard - glad to get home and listen to The Now Show.

Friday, January 25, 2002

Rainy & windy night.

Thursday, January 24, 2002

Bright, sunny day - not too cold either. Big improvement.

Tuesday, January 22, 2002

On the way home that smell of vegetation in the air. At least 2 weeks early - the daffodil shoots are up outside the window at work already too. Yet another year of unseasonable warmth.

Sunday, January 20, 2002

Weather good and windy today.

Saturday, January 19, 2002

Bright and cold again.

Friday, January 18, 2002

Bright cold weather in the morning, much improved.

Thursday, January 17, 2002

All day working with visitors. What a relief when they went! Walked home in refreshing rain.

Wednesday, January 16, 2002

Turned cold and bright again.

Tuesday, January 15, 2002

Weather warmer, with heavy rain.

Monday, January 14, 2002

Dismal foggy morning, wet & grey the rest of the day.

Sunday, January 13, 2002

Weather left me rather subdued; sort of low feeling I get occasionally.

Wednesday, January 09, 2002

Weather better today. Sitting in the library in the morning, saw the Sun finally come out.

Tuesday, January 08, 2002

Gloomy and dark again, but at least not raining.

Monday, January 07, 2002

Gloomy, dark drizzle in the morning.

Sunday, January 06, 2002

Damp and misty, getting foggy as the day went on.

Saturday, January 05, 2002

Gloomy, damp weather - much warmer but I think I preferred it cold and bright.

Tuesday, January 01, 2002

Very cold again - flawless bright weather though.
