It was infernally hot and grey all day. Walked to the offy in soft but heavy rain.
June 3rd. Some serious rain. Later the setting sun broke through the clouds in the west and lit up the centre of my map on the wall with a golden, mellow light.
June 8th. Rode into town in the pouring rain.
June 9th. Weird but good dreams - woken up from the best bit by rain drumming on the roof at 6.30 am.
June 19th. Woke up at mid-day to a darkling sky and heavy rain.
'Cool, wet, and dull. [...]'
