Weather nasty again in the morning, but clearing to a golden evening by about 4.30pm.

Rotten weather in the morning - heavy damp grey overcast, drizzle.

Rained all afternoon. Enjoyed watching the traffic splash past.

Last night's stormy weather had blown itself out in the morning - cool, clear, sunny, still a bit of wind.

Very windy in the night and morning, slowed me down drastically on my way in. First coat-wearing day of the winter. In the evening rain: rain on window-panes always an evocative sound, especially at night.
