Spent 1½ hours working on a script to speed up the extraction of 1973-82 weather reports from the newspaper archive. Started reading Mark Steel's autobio again. Just right for the oncoming winter and the general atmosphere of the early 80s hanging over the country right now. Here comes another winter...
