It got very dark later in the afternoon and then hailed, and then snowed. Unpleasant walk in driving snow as far as Tescos - luckily just before I got there the flakes turned big and soft, but my gloves were frozen.
Already turned to slush when I came out, so the walk home wasn't nearly so bad.
