Much colder last night. Wore to work one of the sparkly Red Herring woolly hats I picked up cheap last spring, and have been wanting to wear all year.

NB I'm trialling putting the max/min temperatures level with the last line of previous day (because the day for temp purposes is from 9am to 9am. Eg here yesterday's maximum was 8°C and last night's minimum was 2°C.) Also note respective figures repeated in brackets against the relevant synopses.
