There were drops of rain on my walk back from the salon, and about 11.30 a really heavy shower began. Got drenched before I got home - don't think I've been so wet since I fell in the river. As I was already soaked, I went back out and gave the car a good sponge in the pouring rain. And later I used the damp to get out and do some hoeing in the garden.
