In the afternoon worked in the heat getting those ivy stumps out. Very strange 5 minutes of raindrops with the sun shining and no clouds overhead (though a suspicious virgae-ish cloud off to the E). Steady rain in the evening, thank goodness. I was getting bored with the hot weather, and with carrying watering cans up to the potato patch. 0900 8 S
