Beautiful day - definite hint of autumn early in the morning with the slanting orange sunlight and tint of the clear sky, and a ceiling of fog at about 100ft. which the bus climbed into going up the hill.
By lunchtime a fine, calm, hot day with a hint of high haze, a bit like the day of Navarth's party in The Palace of Love.
