Woke up to find an unexpected 1/2" of snow on the ground. Walked into town to appreciate the wintry scene.

December 29th. A few flakes of snow fell in the morning. Bleak, grey, dark afternoon.

December 30th. A few flakes of snow; intensified a bit later, but not much was lying.
