Still beautiful weather today with a nice cool breeze.

July 2nd. Beautiful day again.

July 4th. Great heat, very tiring.

July 5th. Very hot last night.

July 6th. Nice weather with cool breeze.

July 8th. Weather's gone off rather: cool, grey and windy.

July 9th. Cold, rainy and windy.

'On the 9th an exceptional cold front brought heavy rain and a large temperature drop to the south'

July 10th. Got caught in a shower.

July 13th. Cold, grey, rain later - nothing like July.

July 14th. Warm, damp morning. Heavy shower about 6.30pm, falling rain sunlit before a rainbow appeared.

July 19th. Unstable weather today, huge cumulo-nimbus but only a flash or two of lightning. I have often thought a lot of storms pass by the town to North and South and my mother has also heard people say that. Must be the contours West of here.

July 23rd. Thunder shower about 8.30 pm followed by a high rainbow and the New Moon against the sunset.

July 25th. Great weather; sun, wind, heavy showers.
