Weather very mild. Pouring rain in the evening.

January 10th. Very windy and rainy, gusting Force 7 by my estimation.

January 11th. At 7.15 am, woken by massive gusts of wind and rain beating on the window. Luckily by 8 am the rain had stopped and the wind was down to say Force 5.

January 13th. Weather wet and windy. Very windy in the afternoon, gusting Force 7-8.

January 14th. River very high with all the rain.

January 15th. Rode to Sainsbury's with the very strong S.W. wind behind me. Cycling back against the wind was slower than walking would have been.

January 23rd. Very windy in the late evening.

January 27th. Calm, close and damp.

January 29th. Up to rain, which stopped at 11.30. Weather then very calm, warm and damp - not like January at all. Not much sun recently either.
