Roses in the garden here flourishing - white, yellow, and ones I remember from 45 years ago, raspberry ripple, pale pink and deep pink.

Drove home eating my packed lunch. Took the back road all the way to Gt Saffield rather than turning off. Quite pleasant driving down country roads on Sunday afternoon with green leaves and dark skies.

Even nicer weather, quite hot. Countryside looking beautiful. I kind of missed last summer because I hardly ever ventured out of the town. Driving into Mugsborough I was reminded of summer 1985 or 1986 or 1987 or 1988, when almost anything seemed possible.

Had my weekly meeting from my old bedroom. Very peaceful and quiet with the birdsong.
