Coming out of work saw beautiful red-edged clouds in the sunset, pale, white wine coloured sky.

Heavy rain at times in the morning and at lunchtime.

Weather had turned very cold indeed when I came out at 9pm. Clear though, with Sirius glittering with winter-warming blue fire.

I'm getting into the 'new year' thing - I caught myself wondering when Easter was. Also I think the sun's a little higher in the sky than it was.

Went out for a walk in the afternoon in the woods - just a 45-minute stroll and a look at the clouds drifting near the westering sun.
