Cold and very wet today. Actually began snowing heavily while I was out shopping. We do sometimes get non-sticking snow as early as November, I suppose.

Very cold and clear weather. Went for a walk in the afternoon, through the country park. It was good to be roaming through woods and fields on a fine, cold late autumn afternoon, with a bright low sun.
