Looked like a dark, dry grey day with cold wind - the sort that's enjoyable if you're well wrapped up. Unfortunately, as I walked to town to do my first bout of Christmas shopping, it began raining.

Dark and rainy and windy in the morning. It began to clear at lunchtime, and by 1330 I was looking at a fine panorama from the top floor - dark clouds to left and right, fair-weather clouds above, blue sky elsewhere.

Stopped raining at last.

Some welcome sun-breaks around lunchtime, but another dull day otherwise, with drizzle in the morning.

Very warm for the time of year, also very calm. Almost unsettling in combination.

Rather warmer than I expected today. Fine view at lunchtime SW over the town, under grey stratoculumus - very pleasant weather if you're somewhere warm with something interesting to do.

Rotten weather - penetrating drizzle all day after 10 am-ish.

Another dull day; rained hard till the afternoon, then cleared. Took a whole binful of recycling paper to the dump in the rain.
