Last day of autumn. Rather mild but also rather wet. One of those pink-flushed grey skies around sunset.

Raining most of the day.

Very cold today. Wonderful '18th-century' full moon in cloud-wrack behind bare black trees when I left at 5pm.

Heavy frost in the morning. By the evening it had clouded over and heavy cold rain was falling as I walked home.

Clear and cold - wonderfully clear in fact, with vivid autumn colours. Sunset sky of such clarity that I was able to watch the sun set and look out for the 'green flash'. Didn't see it.

Weather beautiful first thing, but clouded over horribly and started raining.

Gloomy, damp weather. My mood pretty good though.

Colder today. Not quite so dull though - a number of sun-breaks to make the leaves on the tree outside glow with orange fire.

Dismal weather again.

Miserable dark, drizzly weather.

Cold and clear again. Wonderful 'spacious' sunset, cloudless, yellow/gold/orange at the horizon shading off through pink and green to blue, dark blue and black.

Rotten weather - dark, dim, damp & dull in the morning. Felt quite subdued. It was raining, too, but as there was no wind, walked to work with an umbrella.

Very cold and very windy - north wind - and raining in the morning. Snow shower at lunchtime.

Cold again. At lunchtime that winter brightness to the half-cloudy sky. Later a black, windy evening.

Still cold, but good walking weather.

Cold day with hard, bright sky and sunlight. Again very reminiscent of 1999.
