Rain and sun interchanging today. In the library at lunchtime rain beating on the glass, and far away a sun-break advancing across the woods on the other side of the river.

Damp, grey morning. Very verdant though; tree outside my window a positive viridian glare. Started raining about 1pm, pouring at 7pm, still going at 9.30.

Beautiful weather - flawless. Went to see my counsellor: lovely drive there through the countryside, really quite verdant now with only the largest trees still looking wintry. As I said to her, it's a good metaphor for my psyche.
