Sat by the open window with a beautiful Spring morning outside - like the beginning of The Hobbit.

Beautiful weather, though cold: woke up to sunlight, and the rest of the day was huge clouds and cold showers with sunny spells. Very windy too.

Came back in driving snow (in April!).

Weather not so nice today, but pressure rose to 1037 mb, so possibly brighter tomorrow.

Lovely weather again. In the evening everything was absolutely beautiful. Warm, still, the remnants of the light of sunset still in the sky and the smell of coming rain in the air.

In the afternoon the weather cleared to a beautiful spring evening - leaves are out on most of the trees now.

About 7.30pm dusk was just falling, along with a few drops of rain, and the quiet grey clouds and the wind and a fresh smell took me right back, to before all this hassle.
