Cold and south-windy this morning.

A day of clouds and rain. Woke up at 6.40 to a dark morning with drizzle.

Very bad frost last night - roads were covered in ice.

The second day of a series of frosts. -4 C last night.

A day of rain, wind and falling leaves.

For the last 3 days there has been intense frost - very cold with clear skies and a full moon.

November 24th. Ice around the edges of the river for the second day running. Temperature -7 C last night. The frost broke today.

Freezing morning with frost on the garage roofs, like yesterday.

Left home at 7.50, had a knife-cold ride through the early morning greyness.

It was a dark, and stormy night.

Great weather today, high winds & gusting grey clouds overhead. Went on a trial bike-ride to school. It was extremely difficult to ride against the wind, even downhill. As I write the wind is gusting about the house, very wintry & homely.

Noticed the mounting wind early in the afternoon, it was roaring in the sun-lit trees outside. On my way home the mass of grey clouds I had seen in the South started sprinkling rain. Five minutes later the rain was practically falling horizontally due to the wind. It was now almost impossible to walk against the gale which threw cold, hard rain in your face, but after another ten minutes the wind had dropped and it was merely raining.

In the evening, during The A-Team there was a 'weather-flash' to the effect that the winds would increase to Storm force (10) with gusts of up to 80 mph & structural damage could occur.

Not a very nice day today in meteorological terms.

Sun & wind day today, but a bit warmer & not so pleasant.

This evening it snowed - and snowed - and snowed.
